BA (Hons) Filmmaking
As a filmmaker I tend to explore topics that surround the modern feminine experience. My graduate film The Pilgrimage of Young Women depicts three friends slowly grapple with the fact that the commodity of their youth will soon be spent; A story ruminating on friendship, femininity and responsibility. I find it important to voice the everyday woman, aiming to create films that feel authentic and vulnerable. As a creative i find it important to work across different disciplines,as a makeup artist i also create projects that explore femininity, these concepts often criticising the perception of women for the use of these tools as an art or creating abstract visuals to portray mental states.
