Ross Miley is an abstract painter who has created a series of paintings that respond to the ever-changing conditions and contexts of life. His work is inspired by the urban culture of street art and graffiti which is conveyed through his colour selection and material use. The work is aimed at evoking an emotional response from the audience by portraying movement and stillness, tension and fluidity, calmness and intensity through the use of intuitive and gestural mark making and colour interaction.
