MA Fashion Design Technology

At this pivotal juncture in history, the demand for fresh ideas and transformative energy is greater than ever. The pressing need for change calls for a holistic re-evaluation of every aspect of our world, including the disciplines of design and innovation. This cohort of visionary MA Fashion Design Technology students challenges the traditional role of the fashion designer, positioning themselves as key agents in re-engineering the systems that shape our society. Their work spans a diverse array of topics, including sustainable materials, colour theory and mental health, digital advancements, spirituality, feminism, radical youth movements, and bioengineering. Through their research and creative practice, they are not merely designing garments, but pioneering radical systems that reflect a new, holistic philosophy — where fashion transcends product creation to become a driving force for positive, systemic change.
