I am interested in community conscious design, prioritising circular economy principles and sustainable materiality and creating transformational, memorable spaces that have positive impacts on communities and people. I really enjoy the contextual element of the design process, delving into the history and culture of a place or scene and responding to the space through that.
My Final Major Project, 'Third’ is a grassroots youth space in Manchester that fosters creative talent through art, film, music and performance. This was initially inspired by Manchester’s youth scene in the 80s, reflecting an evolving, energetic culture that champions equal creative opportunities for all young people.
