Megan Fletcher - BA (Hons) Illustration with Animation
I'm a disabled illustrator and maker whose practice is strongly informed by the concept of embodiment - whether through printmaking, model making, drawing, or stop-motion animation, my work emphasises the physical process of creating. With a basis in both research and introspection, I aim to capture aspects of life through a marginalised lens, blending the domestic and realistic with the fantastical and imaginary to connect a line between deeply personal and familiar to all. My work revolves around issues of identity, disability, and access in a way that aims to validate often overlooked lived experiences, with a focus on visualising invisible disabilities.
