Tara Morony - MA Performance
Tara is a performer and theatre-maker, whose practice combines physical theatre, sensory experiences and clowning within the Theatre Laboratory. She began her journey in theatre with Teatro de los Sentidos in Barcelona, training and researching the 'sensory languages and the poetics of play' within theatrical creation. She then joined the Masters in Performance at Manchester School of Theatre, specialising in Laboratory Theatre, while also training with the Performers’ Playground independent school of theatre and clowning (making her a fully qualified beautiful idiot). Through her current practice-as-research, she is exploring the theme of desire, drawing on micropolitical perspectives, through the territories of clowning and the sensory experience of the performer in training and performance.
