Metamorphosis

My project reimagines the traditional addiction center by breaking away from outdated clinical models and instead creating a transformative space for healing, growth, and renewal. At its core, the concept follows the user's personal journey as a metaphorical metamorphosis from a caterpillar to a butterfly symbolizing deep transformation and emergence into a new life. The architectural design of the building itself becomes a part of this journey, with each floor representing a stage of change and self discovery. As users move upward through the installation, they are guided through experiences that support emotional, mental, and spiritual evolution, offering a hopeful, future facing approach to recovery.

My love for design is deeply fueled by art and travelling both of which have shaped my appreciation for diverse spaces, cultures, and aesthetics. I hope to begin my interior design journey within the retail and hospitality sectors, where I have firsthand experience of the users’ needs, desires, and expectations. These environments excite me because of their fast pace, emotional impact, and potential for innovation. I’m eager to continue exploring how thoughtful, creative design can positively transform the way people feel, behave, and connect in the spaces they move through every day.
