BACKSTREETS
My graduate collection 'BACKSTREETS' is a men's street/ sportswear collection which focuses on different aspects of urban lifestyle, mainly looking at the subcultures, streetdance, skate cultre and street art/ graffiti.
The collection features a variety of garments ranging from sportswear, outerwear and movement enhanced clothing. I have used various pattern cutting techniques to enhance the flexibility of my garments making them fit for the very activities they were inspired by.
The collection also features a variety of fabrics and textile techniques including, denim, cotton drill twill, airtex mesh, vinyl, hand painted leather, quilting, jaquard shima programmed knit, patchwork embellishment, and screen/ sublimation printing.
