Emily’s creative practice is grounded in ethical awareness, community engagement, and a desire to make meaningful, impactful work. Sustainability sits at the core of her process — not just in materials, but in how she approaches people, narratives, and representation. Often drawn to personal, political, and emotional themes, Emily works slowly and intentionally to build trust and represent people as they wish to be seen. Her practice is rooted in care, consent, and long-term relationships. Specialising in photography and creative direction, she shoots in documentary style, often waiting for genuine moments of expression, movement or connection that reflect the relationship she’s built with each subject.
