Dressed In Jazz
Music and singing have been a huge passion of mine from a very early age, deeply shaping my creativity and self-expression. A few years ago, I completed my DipLCM (Diploma of the London College of Music) in performance where I was required to sing a jazz piece, which left a lasting impression on me. The soulful rhythms, rich emotion, and expressive freedom of jazz sparked a deep connection to the genre that continues to inspire me today.
This inspiration then became the foundation for my graduate collection. When designing, I was drawn to the glamour and sophistication of the jazz era, not just the music itself, but also the iconic fashion of the time. The elegance of 1920s and 1930s jazz styles (feathers, sequins, sleek silhouettes, and bold accessories) heavily influenced the aesthetic of my work. It is for this reason, I created a glamorous and contemporary collection that seamlessly fuses my love for both music and fashion.
