Felicity Bithell - BA (Hons) Fine Art
Felicity Bithell constructs visual narratives responding to Ynys Enlli (Bardsey Island) where many fond family holidays have been spent. Reflected in her artwork is the materialisation of feelings of nostalgia, tranquillity and fleeting moments. Central to her practice is the experimentation of creating natural inks. Felicity is excited by the process of making natural inks, formed from; rust, copper and food waste – creating an alive unpredictable medium to play with. In harmony with these natural inks, Felicity’s handmade brushes created from foraged driftwood, fishing twine and grasses, strive to manifest fragility, meditative and rhythmic notions within the artworks.
