Fran Delaney is an illustrator based in the North. They primarily theme their work on the mystical and fantastical, having been previously inspired by books such as the Grimm’s Fairy Tales. They primarily create surreal imagery using a mix of digital, watercolour or ink mediums with a rich colour palette, heavily inspired by medieval tapestries.
Fran usually focuses on the female figure and femininity as a construct.They dive into girl and womanhood through their work, due to growing up distanced from their own femininity.
