Joe Melville, known by his artist name Melvilla, is a cultured and passionate producer who has turned his love for music into a full-fledged creative career. After five years of studying music production - from his first year of college to his final year at university - Joe has developed a deep and versatile skillset. His debut EP Lift Off not only marks the beginning of his professional journey but also captures the essence of what he's all about: groovy, electronic dance music with a unique flair.
Although born in England, Joe spent part of his adolescence in South Africa, where he discovered his love for house music. Influenced heavily by the legendary DJ and producer Black Coffee, Joe blends the rhythmic energy of classic house with the structure and drive of modern tech-house. The result is a sound that’s both nostalgic and forward-thinking, distinctly his own. Beyond producing, DJing, and performing, Joe also finds joy in sound design and film scoring, where his natural instinct for composition shines.
