Way to Utopia
Way to Utopia is a pro-ecological animation in which a desert landscape becomes the narrator of a story about the climate crisis and the consequences of human activity. An elephant's journey through a world devoid of water symbolises both the struggle for survival and the search for hope in the face of global threats. The project aims to encourage viewers to reflect on the fact that the environment is not a passive backdrop to our existence, but an active participant in a story whose future depends on our decisions. The open ending leaves the question: will humanity find its way to utopia, or will it head towards further disasters?
My artistic practice focuses on combining ecological narratives with visual experiments in 3D animation. In my creative work, I mainly use Houdini, experimenting with simulation systems and environment generation. I am particularly interested in using procedural tools to create landscapes that take on symbolic meaning through texture, light and dynamics. Through animation, I strive to combine technical precision with emotional expression, treating realism not as an end in itself, but as a means of enhancing the narrative.
