Rooted in surrealism, this collection explores the distorted perception of reality and time. It is inspired by the experience of drifting through lucid dreams where physical form dissolves, and the boundary between waking and dreaming becomes fragile.
A quiet dread lingers, the fear of not being able to distinguish between what is real and what is imagined. Drawing from mythological references, the collection ties the ephemeral to the eternal, reflecting on the ways ancient stories mirror our inner, dream like worlds.
A dark, introspective mood permeates the work, highlighting the tension between the vulnerability of dreams and the illusion of comfort in the physical world. Monumental, greater than life silhouettes suggest a spirit that transcends the body moving beyond linear time and into something more expansive.
Textures become physical expressions of internal anxieties, brought to life through surface ornamentation. 3D printed spikes, latex, and silicone form a tactile language, both alien and intimate, that evokes the raw, unsettled nature of the subconscious.
