Klaudia Klomfar - MA Graphic Design and Art Direction

And all those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.

I’m a cross-disciplinary graphic artist with a background in art history, which deeply shapes my approach to visual culture and design. With cultural roots in Austria and Hungary, I bring a nuanced international perspective to my practice.

I enjoy blending analogue and digital methods, often incorporating photography, painting and craft into my design process. My work is especially influenced by film and music, which led me to explore the Blade Runner universe, specifically the iconic Tears in Rain monologue, for my final project. I connected this with the ancient Memento Mori sentiment and with Vanitas imagery, engaging with themes of time, mortality and memory to create emotionally resonant design.

For this project, I reimagined four characters from the film as members of a fictional band and developed a complete visual identity for them. Acting as their art director, I produced a wide range of assets: album covers, merchandise (clothing, tote bags, keychains, etc.), logo design, custom typefaces, tour posters and even a website (link here: https://readymag.website/u2205114801/5720162/). Together, these elements form a rich, immersive visual world that captures the Timehunters legacy, even after their 4-year lifespan is over. Ensuring they won't be lost in time, like tears in rain.
