Throw shapes
I’m a sustainable textile designer with a passion for creating eco-friendly and naturally dyed prints. My work is deeply influenced by the environment and use natural resources to achieve bold and vibrant colour. This is through extensive research and experimentation with natural dyes I have developed a wide range of colours through modifiers (Acid, Akali and Iron) and created my own colour chart.
My designs are inspired by playful shapes and the joy that colour can bring—especially to children. My designs also stem from the simple shapes we first learn as children: circles, triangles, squares and rectangles. These forms have been reimagined in a playful and educational way and bring a sense of fun and interaction to each garment. I'm drawn to the world of unisex childrenswear aiming to make it more inviting, expressive, and inclusive. To do this I combine my love for natural dyes and my thoughtful designs to hope to bring a fresh perspective to unisex children’s fashion. Hopefully one that’s bright, bold, and kind to the planet.
