Biomimetics
My work explores biomimetic architecture as a source of inspiration within my designs, with a particular focus on the natural structures of honeycomb. Through the exploration of honeycomb formations, I investigate how their geometric and natural structure can be translated into woven textile designs. By combining 3D woven construction with successful finishing processes.
