As a neurodivergent artist I explore personal identity and lived experience through sculpture, installation and material experimentation. I am interested in the relationship between the mind and body, particularly how emotions and internal experiences can become physically represented through materials, colour, texture and form.

Fabric and fragile materials have become an important part of my practice, allowing me to explore the processes of creating my art. These physical processes have become a way of expressing emotions that can be difficult to communicate through words. I often use anatomical forms such as hearts, veins and bodily structures to explore ideas surrounding emotion, vulnerability and the connection between the internal and external self.

I want to create immersive environments that encourage audiences to look, move around and potentially enter the work, creating a more personal and sensory encounter.

Ultimately, I hope my practice can create spaces where personal and often hidden experiences can be recognised and connected with by others.
