My older sister
I am an illustrator working predominantly in watercolor, lino,digital drawing and collage. When I'm not focusing mainly on illustration, I enjoy painting portraits in oils, usually capturing intimate relationships mainly between women. My recent project 'my older sister' highlights the complex relationship between two sisters. I love telling personal stories throughout my work and using illustration to create a visual language. Most of my work surrounds themes of girlhood and feminine connection. I also enjoy focusing on ethereal and fantasy figures in relation to spirituality. I enjoy both bold, graphic and often monotone outcomes but also soft colourful illustrative pieces with detailed backstories.
