Whisper of Glamer
Specialising in womenswear and focusing on creative pattern cutting, digital fashion with 3D printing, leather craftsmanship, and technical draping, my graduate collection is seeped in Scottish history and rooted in paranoia, injustice, and blind obedience. Exploring the Scottish Witch Hunts as one of the earliest forms of misogyny, this collection aims to give power back to women while highlighting the injustices faced throughout history.
‘The Whisper of Glamer’ alludes to the power of a whisper of a witch, that leads to a womans execution. ‘Glamer’ meaning magic, which ‘Glamour’ is derived from.
