The Small Universe
My practice operates at the intersection of psychology, business, and graphic design. I am fascinated by how humanism, the complex tapestry of social structures, emotions, and self-recognition, can be translated into visual languages.
By seeing the world under the bright colour palette, I break down "programmed" routines to reveal the internal rhythms that define us. Using bold typography and highly saturated, vibrant palettes, I create visual systems that bridge the gap between how we consume information and how we emotionally experience our environments. I view design as a systemic method for reinterpreting urban documents and social architecture.
The Small Universe is an installation exploring human evolution through the metaphor of a "circle" navigating a collision-filled world. The work contrasts two narratives: a reactive self, trapped in a rigid grid of comparison, and a self-driven protagonist that embraces its encounters with events, environments, and people. As the circle collides with these forces, it morphs into five distinct geometric shapes, visualising the courage to bounce back and "rebalance." The installation invites viewers to move through the space and question whether they are conforming or expanding.
