Hi, I'm Dan, a graphic designer based in Manchester/Leeds.
My practice explores the relationship between visual communication, music and time, with a particular interest in audiovisual and multimodal experiences. I am fascinated by the way moving image and sound can shape atmosphere, encourage reflection, and create moments of quiet engagement in an increasingly busy world.
I enjoy refining the smallest details of a project, exploring how subtle changes in composition, movement and rhythm can influence the emotional impact of a piece. Much of my work is informed by a passion for music, drawing inspiration from many genres and from artists who work at the intersection of sound and image.
Before university, my creative interests centred on graphic design for clothing and print, an experience that helped develop my appreciation for bold visual communication and attention to detail.
Throughout my studies I have expanded my practice across digital media, developing skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, TouchDesigner and Blender. Looking ahead, I am excited to continue exploring audiovisual art and the potential for immersive, meditative experiences that connect people with ideas in new ways.
