Seeds A Cycle
Seeds: A Cycle is an interdisciplinary project exploring the symbolism of seeds as vessels of transformation, potential, and renewal. Drawing inspiration from the Caryophyllaceae plant family, the work reflects on cycles found throughout nature and human life - growth, decay, loss, regeneration, and rebirth. Through painting, textiles, printmaking, and research, the project examines how small beginnings can hold entire futures within them.
The seed becomes both a literal and metaphorical object: a carrier of memory, ancestry, creativity, and change. Influenced by folklore, natural forms, and personal reflection, the project considers our relationship to the natural world and the cyclical patterns that shape our lives. Ultimately, Seeds: A Cycle invites viewers to slow down and contemplate the quiet processes of becoming, reminding us that growth often occurs beneath the surface long before it is visible.
