Emilio Guisado - Zuloaga- BA (Hons) Illustration with Animation
Emilio is a British Peruvian illustrator, who takes full advantage of the flexibility of digital media to create dreamlike, imaginative works that create a feeling of childlike joy. His inspiration for his style comes from the idea that you can find colour and whimsy in every little corner of the world. He wants his work to remind people that life is full of colour and joy, even when things seem mundane.
His most notable projects include his work on his two original children's picture books "Lily's Garden",(a story about learning to garden and passing on generational skills) and "The Bears and The Sheep" (a comedic short story about some snow bears playing a prank).
Although his main focus is on illustrating children’s books, he is happy to work on all sorts of projects ranging from book covers to animation. The most important thing to him is that he gets to make art that makes you happy. If his art has made you smile, then his mission has been a success.
