Fashion Design and Technology

My work explores the relationship between structure, material behaviour, and garment form. I am interested in developing clothing through process led experimentation, using construction, repetition, and spatial balance to generate silhouettes and proportion. Rather than approaching design through surface styling, I focus on how garments can evolve through making, testing, and physical manipulation.

Sampling is central to my practice, allowing materials and construction methods to inform the development of form. I am particularly drawn to translucency, controlled volume, and the balance between precision and fluidity. Through experimental pattern cutting, layering, and visible construction, I explore how garments can hold both structure and lightness simultaneously.

I am interested in creating work that feels refined, restrained, and intentional, where construction remains present within the final outcome rather than hidden. My practice combines technical development with conceptual thinking, exploring how clothing can function not only as wearable form, but also as a spatial and sensory experience.
