Fleur Fradgley is a queer scouse illustrator, animator, and swimming instructor!

They love to create comics, zines, illustrations, and animations filled with bold colours and texture.

She creates digitally and traditionally, through a range of inks, watercolours, pens, and pencils combined with printmaking (especially Risograph), collage, and bookbinding.

She loves to create work that brings joy and her work often features themes of queerness, music, class, poetry, folklore, and swimming!

Take a look at her comic, Teachin' Swimmin' !! It's a risograph printed comic about Fleur being a swimming teacher!

That includes a bunch of comics about swimming teaching! comics about lessons, comics about being a swimming teacher, comics about swimming along with some tips about how to swim!!

The risograph is printed with medium blue and fluorescent orange inks filled with lots of texture from the inks, pens, watercolour and pencil that made the original comic pages. And bound with a fluorescent orange thread (just like the orange lane ropes of the pool)!

also check out her animations that range from digital, collage and made with Risograph!

Fleur is also apart of THE SLEEPY ZINE team that created The Sleepy Zine that you can line down and snuggle up in!
