Guste Alisauskaite- BA (Hons) Interior Design
Level Up
My work explores how interior design can create more inclusive and engaging environments through visual communication, technology and spatial experience. I am particularly interested in designing spaces that respond to the needs of underrepresented users while still remaining adaptable for wider audiences.
My final major project, Level Up, focuses on supporting deaf users through a visually-led environment that combines gamification, social interaction and immersive technology. The project was informed by research into Deafspace principles, visual communication and inclusive educational design. Through spatial layout, lighting and experiential zoning, the design encourages participation, confidence and connection without relying on sound-based interaction.
Before studying interior design, I developed an interest in creative design through graphic design at GCSE, which influenced my strong visual approach to layouts, branding and presentation. Across my projects, I enjoy combining conceptual thinking with practical and socially responsive design to create environments that are both functional and engaging.
