Haji Kareem- MA Graphic Design and Art Direction
A graphic designer and visual artist born in Lagos, Nigeria. I moved to Barcelona at the age of eleven, living there for fifteen years before relocating to the UK, where I am currently based between Liverpool and Manchester. I am the author of the self-published book “¿A mí me consideras negro?” [Do You Consider Me Black?]. Informed by my lived experience across three distinct national contexts, my creative practice uses autoethnography and decolonial theory to explore and interrogate culture, memory, and identity.
