Izzy’s illustrative practice is led forever by her feelings! Working instinctively, she entangles thoughts with spiralling drawings to create visual poetry.
As she etches, her free-flowing lines become solidified and monumental on the surface of the plate, bringing certainty to her spontaneity. The same linework remains, swirling and untamed, within whichever medium she is exploring - from printmaking and ceramics, to sculpture and animation.
She is passionate about how empathy and storytelling can change the world - aiming to make work that connects us to our most human selves.
