Leeham The Wizard
Leeham the Wizard is an artist/illustrator/cartoonist/wizard who communicates with the past, present, and future, autobiographically, in a satirical, cartoon-style approach.
Leeham makes a funny comic on Instagram from Monday to Friday. His dad died of alcoholism on the 19th February 2026, and he made a funny comic about that too, and eventually self-published "Welcome to The Dead Dad Club", a 364-page paperback comic book autobiographically made leading up to and after Leeham's alcoholic father's death.
Leeham's art style can shift from highly detailed, maximalist risograph prints to raw, unrefined 30-second comics, using physical materials such as spray paint, pen and paper.
Leeham completed three commissions as a live scribe for MMU during his studies, using his magical abilities to distil layered, complex information into simple, funny cartoons.
In June 2025, Leeham exhibited his recently completed year-long project, "The Self-Portrait Project," at Saan1 NQ in Manchester. The exhibition, "ADHD MAXIMUM 30,000", included a series of A3 hand-drawn and coloured A3 and A4 self-portraits, recent postgraduate work and previous projects.
After graduation, Leeham plans to seek commission work and sell prints, books, zines, clothes, badges, stickers, and more through his online following and markets. Leeham is committed to giving away as many "Dead Dad Club Badges" as he can; anyone with a dead, estranged, or whatever dad gets one for free, just pay postage. Leeham has hopes that the Dead Dad Club could expand into an international mental health and art therapy support network for those who have lost family members to addiction, disease, or life choices.
Leeham also hopes to bring his recently published book, Welcome to The Dead Dad Club, into physical spaces through live readings, armed with a projector and a microphone.
