'Grief is like Glitter'
Lola Fellows is an illustrator whose practice focuses on working with traditional methods, particularly hand drawn illustration and printmaking. Her work revolves predominantly around children’s illustration, world building and character design. She combines multiple mediums and textures to create imaginative imagery for young audiences. Inspired by the imagination of children, her work centres around aiding development of themselves and their feelings. She enjoys letting her illustrations have breathing space within them, often not including a background for dramatic effect. She partakes in diversity across book illustration, as well as printmaking.
