Natural Seasons
I am a Textile Designer specialising in surface print for interiors, creating trend-led collections that combine nature and personal identity. Inspired by the landscape and cultural heritage of the Isle of Man, I reinterpret traditional influences to produce contemporary print designs.
My practice combines personal narrative while responding to current trend forecasts, while maintaining a strong connection to place. Observing botanical forms and Celtic symbols, I experiment through hand-painted and digital processes to develop print collections that balance contemporary design with heritage-inspired aesthetics.
Natural Seasons explores the combination of nature, heritage and trend forecasting within interior textiles. The project demonstrates how heritage-inspired design can be reimagined for contemporary wallpaper and home furnishings. Presented through an interior magazine, each collection is brought to life through styled visualisations that highlight coordinated prints within the home. Each collection showcases seasonal colour stories that demonstrate how surface pattern can create cohesive spaces with a modern heritage aesthetic.
