I am an emerging curator with a strong academic foundation in Art History and Contemporary Curating. My practice is driven by an interest in cross-cultural relations, audience engagement, and the ways cultural exchange shapes experiences of identity, belonging, and place. I am interested in how curatorial environments can activate these conditions through immersive and participatory exhibition-making. I see exhibitions as spaces that encourage audiences to engage with hidden layers of meaning while recognising aspects of their own emotional worlds.
During my MA, I co-founded the Common Voices Curatorial Collective and co-curated Eco-Synthetic Dreams, an exhibition responding to Videocity's theme Morphing Realities. Through ecological surrealism, the project explored the increasingly blurred boundaries between ecological, technological, and human realities, using moving image, digital media, and immersive design to transform the exhibition space into a speculative environment.
These interests further informed ghosted, a curatorial project developed during the British Council Venice Fellowship at the British Pavilion. Exploring experiences of estrangement and belonging in an increasingly mobile world, the project takes the form of an evolving archive of reflections, memories, and visual fragments that examines what it means to feel like a stranger in both familiar and unfamiliar environments.
Following the completion of my MA, I am relocating to Sofia to develop my curatorial practice within Bulgaria's contemporary art scene while maintaining an international outlook. My aim is to build and maintain a meaningful dialogue between Bulgaria and wider global contexts while continuing to make contemporary art more accessible, engaging, and comprehensible to diverse audiences.
