the navigator
the navigator is a project about travelling to the edges of your universe, using the stars to guide you. Blind faith that the world around you will show you the way, and feeling a sense of connection between yourself and the universe.
Nostalgia and sentimental value are a driving force behind my work - creating projects that explore my dreams, ambitions, and stories that i want to tell and connect with others through.
This is the beginning of my story for Ben Rio - escaping through fashions into worlds where anything is possible. I am travelling with the stars as my guide.
The motifs of Polaris, the north star, compass points indicates my intuition, drive and sense of divine guidance with an ultimate destination. These are my navigators.
As this collection steps into the outside world, the only question remaining is; Where's your North star?
