I am a textile and surface pattern designer with an affinity for colour and playful, ecologically-inspired pattern. My process always begins with hand-drawing and collage to create motifs and elements depicting imagery from my own photography. Throughout my time on TIP I have crafted and honed my own illustrative style which I am confident in transforming into repeat and placement patterns.

My graduate collection at Manchester School of Art is based on my experience of utilising green spaces within the city as places of sanctuary to facilitate urban escapism. By merging visual influences of Brutalist architecture and orchids I have aimed to encapsulate two opposing but complimentary forms of beauty within my collection.
