RESONANCE
RESONANCE provides a space for people with acquired brain injuries to enjoy the outlet of music and access services such as music therapy and instrument adaptation to aid them to enjoy their hobbies without barriers. The space also welcomes users from the wider Stockport community to practice, record or enjoy music through dedicated practice spaces and frequent performances and concerts. These functions will encourage the social reintegration of those with acquired brain injuries and allow them to enjoy venues in the same way as non-disabled people.
As evident in this project and throughout her university briefs, Olivia has a strong passion for designing commerical spaces with a particular focus on user-focused design. Her research and development throughout university has centered on creating practical spaces that give back to the user and feed communities. After concluding her studies at Manchester School of Art, Olivia hopes to continue her career in the commerical interior design world with a keen interest to explore hospitality design. She also has a background in theatre and would like to explore opportunities within set design for both the stage and screen.
