My design practice is deeply set in narratives, using Illustration and embroidery to translate fiction or historical references. I'm a women's designer with an interest in maximal, textured feminine design, often taking inspiration from Couture practice and materials. I made my collection from a more accessible range of fabric: Ecopel's recycled faux fur as an alternative to animal sourced fur, and upcycled lace and beads taken apart and reimagined in these pieces.

'Clann Lir’

Inspired by the legend of four children cursed for centuries to life as swans. Designing from megalithic and pagan concepts to a reincarnation of opulent and textural looks, in the style of Jacques Demy’s fantasy films.

The story is set as a coronation mirroring the ascension of Napoleon and Josephine, with regal furs and gilded military details. Appearances of the swans and spirals symbolising peserverance of the ancient spirit and evidence left by ancestors.
