Forget-ME-Not
Forget-ME-Not uses the idea of reminiscence therapy to support people living with dementia and Alzheimer’s, as well as their wider community. Drawing on familiar domestic environments, it uses sensory cues from the 1950s–1970s to reconnect individuals with memory, identity, and belonging, while also integrating research, testing, and discussion spaces to bring awareness and knowledge to the wider community of Stockport. The project aims to demonstrate how interior design can be used as a powerful tool in creating meaningful and emotionally responsive environments, something I hope to continue exploring and positively contributing to throughout my future career.
