Rhian Milligan is an illustrator from Manchester who explores their deep, meaningful connection to British wildlife through playful imagery and print. She experiments with mark making through watercolours and inks, in collaboration with soft coloured pencil. Her main focus of illustration is depicting her love for birds through whimsical scenes of nature beside the coast and within woodlands. She also explores her love for creating with mono printing, in which she plays around with brush strokes, texture and layers, and illustrates anything wild including depictions of herself.
