Beyond Boundaries, is inspired by the mundane reality of surface qualities and architecture within my daily commute. It focuses more specifically on small details, colour, textures, line, form, and structures within everyday environments.
With form and structure in mind, this has allowed my current work to progress, and take risks when considering scale and shape. My excitement comes from experimenting with different yarn qualities, and testing limits within sampling, suited to a fashion context.
This is just the start of my exploration within my specialism, and I am keen to continue into an MA in knitwear.
