Bette Pryor-Hadley
BA (Hons) Textiles in Practice
I am a woven textile designer with a keen interest in colour and texture. Drawing influence from the natural world I create hyperfeminine, floral inspired, tweed fabrics. Here, I have designed a collection of fabrics to be used in couture fashion. I am a material led weaver and love to experiment with as many different yarn combinations as possible. Constantly expanding my colour palettes, I push the boundaries of traditional weaving processes to produce diverse weights of cloth which come together to form complimentary collections. I am an instinctive designer, developing my concepts of the loom. I aim to create unique fabrics that can be suited to both fashion and interior contexts that showcase the versatility of there unique compositions.
