Mental Health is a subject that still is taboo, in my projects I hope to encourage conversations and action in helping students/ young people.
Mindful Habits is a centre that provides recovery and rehabilitation, which focuses on the sleep and diet. Enabling students and the community to get the right advice, skills and treatment. Balancing life and improving aspects of their life to help support their mental health.
Students can wait longer than 6 months for treatment, having a centre located near universites can makes the space accessible and the programme easier to adapt. The space follows the core skills of improving culinary skills, as diet is often neglected when your mental health deteriorates and a 'Garden of green' which helps give people a project which focuses their minds as well as promote a better sustainable diet. The 'remedy core' and 'slumberous nests' give sanctuary and a free space for those who require them.
