I work within physical and digital mediums. My works often explore myself, my experiences, and my interests.
My physical exhibition consists of 4 art toys which are an extension of a project i worked on where i explored a human like character in costumes and environments that reflect the relationship I have with myself through philosopher Carl Jung’s - ‘Map of The Soul” theory. Each piece explores my own interpretation of the archetypes within Jung’s theory.
As a disabled south asian woman, I have often struggled with my identity. I live in a world that was not created for people like me. Which is a very alienating experience, this causing me to question who I am, even ask what I am. I used this project to explore these questions and feelings, and how they have effected me throught Jung’s archetypes.
