BA (Hons) Illustration with Animation
Hello, I’m Hanna. I’m an Illustration artist and fantasy character creator. My work consists of a mixture of traditional and digital art, exploring the links between nature, superstition and fantasy with paintings, digital illustrations and model making. Nature and the natural world are an integral part of my art and appears in various forms within each piece.
My practice has evolved throughout my time at university, I have developed my skills in character designing and have pushed this further by bringing these original designs into physical form. I have definitely grown more confident to expand and adapt my online presence. Throughout my last year of university, I struggled greatly with my well-being, with trying to find out and get help with having ADHD, at the time of having these issues I would be looking and working on one of the three creatures, it became clear that slowly they had taken on the characteristics of how I was feeling.
I’m very pleased with my outcomes for my final year and the work I have been able to present in the degree show, it shows my love of ethical taxidermy and my skills in character design.
