A Series of Emotions
Hannah Duff is a multi disciplinary textiles artist. Having studied Fine Art before moving to Textiles she has a passion for colour, pattern, expression and shape which can be seen throughout her work. She enjoys creating large scale paintings onto fabric influenced by personal everyday emotions. Being expressionate is a must when it comes to painting, Hannah allows whichever emotion that comes in influence her colour choice and brush stroke, this allows for something different to be created every time.
Recently in her latest practice she has been using a variety of medias such as posca pens, acrylic paint, chalk, oil pastel and spray paint. This gives her work definition and character. Her work incorporates emotions such as subtle humor through explanation, anger, sadness, happiness she feels this is reflective to her life.
