Collaborations With AI
Jaz Coupe is a Manchester based artist. Her most recent work explores the potential of using artificial intelligence in collaboration with her own practice, to create a back-and-forth dialogue between the two. Representing these ideas by animating fluid forms, in constant transformation, she is eager to highlight the capabilities of artificial intelligence to produce works that grow organically and infinitely from her own drawings. The mechanical nature of an algorithm views the work from a completely unbiased perspective, therefore unlocking her creative potential further. Ultimately, as opposed to holding the view that artificial intelligence is a threat to our creativity, Jaz would like to explore the possibilities that can occur when it works in partnership with the artist.
