Joseph Jackson
BA (Hons) Product Design
As a product designer I combine a desire to experiment with form and aesthetic with a user centred aproach. This results in simplistic concepts which aim to provide solution to identified areas of design. This year I have focused on future urban living, specifically looking at small space and communal living which has its challenges in relation to the need for flexability and and adaptability. I have produced a lighting project which encourages migration within and between spaces through a series of magnetic interactive touch points. I have also created a range of portable and adaptable furniture which provides a sense of flexability within a space. The two pieces seamlessly interact with one another through their simplistic brutalist inspired forms.
