Hi! I’m Katarina. I’m a twenty-three-year-old designer from Slovakia, currently based in Manchester. I am interested in many areas of visual design; however, I have been working within the areas of editorial design, type design, UX/IU, and branding the most.
I have a background in traditional art which I have studied for over twelve years. I think this helps shape me as a designer, as I often find myself bringing the skills I have learned in the past into my designs – such as illustrative elements and painting. I like to put myself at the centre of my brief to understand what it needs, which was heavily needed in my recent projects involving sensitive topics like grief, loss, and visual impairment.
I love traveling, getting to know new cultures, and collaborating with people from different backgrounds.
