Seventeen Twentyone & re:
Hi, I’m Katie, a branding and identity designer.
I’m intrigued by the world of advertising, which was sparked by my dissertation on ‘how brands utilise consumer perceptions and associations in their ads and campaigns.’
Having spent a year working for The Walt Disney Company, I experienced first-hand, how the knowledge of your consumer, identity and values are integral to a successful brand – I carry this with me in all my projects.
Developing Seventeen Twentyone was my ideal project, with my love of wine! and branding all rolled into one. The brand is a carbon neutral wine company, with sustainability and great wine at its heart – removing glass from the equation directed the whole project, with wine-on-tap options in restaurants, bring your own bottle stations in supermarkets and AR labels (with no waste during production).
re: is another project I'm really proud of, encouraging Gen Z to create healthier habits to combat the problem of E-waste. This project was in collaboration with Virgin Media O2 and Hubbub, an environmental charity. I created a brand whose campaign becomes the new normal for phone recycling and refurbishing, after educating the public on the topic and the challenges.
I can’t wait to get back out into the world of branding and advertising and I hope you’ve enjoyed looking at my work – check out my website for more information and projects.
